Join us at our coalition-wide celebration in Albany on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29!

It’s been 10 years since our coalition was founded after a statewide road trip that built on the energy and momentum of the 2014 People's Climate March in NYC, the largest climate march in history. Our road trip brought together communities across the state to build a broad-based coalition that unified environmental justice, labor, and multi-issue community leaders to win climate, jobs, and justice for New Yorkers from Buffalo to the Bronx.

After 10 years, our coalition is still going strong—and that’s thanks to you, our members. From passing New York’s landmark climate law to securing the Climate Change Superfund Act to make corporate polluters pay, or ensuring New York builds public renewables and all-electric buildings, NY Renews members have helped us shape the future of New York.

Now, we’re coming together as a coalition at a series of regional events across the state this fall and a full coalition convening this winter in Albany—and we want to see your organization there! We’ll be celebrating a decade of climate justice wins, sharing stories, and building collective power for our next chapter.

Your vision and your power over the last 10 years have helped make New York a healthier, greener, and more just state for generations to come. The next 10 years will decide our future. Help us write the next chapter.

After you register, we'll follow up with information about the two-day event, housing, transportation, and the agenda for our gathering. The deadline to register and request travel or housing support is Friday, January 16.

*Note: NY Renews has resources to help some of those who are travelling to the event, and can support all or part of the cost of travel or hotel for 1-2 people from each organization for up to two nights. We can reimburse travel costs up to $100 per person. Resources are limited, and we will be working to ensure that they support grassroots engagement from across the state and from groups representing diverse sectors of our movement.
